Dr. Sunil Verma is a medical oncologist at Sunnybrook Odette Cancer
Centre.  He is one of many oncologists who believe in the benefits of
chemotherapy treatments for their cancer patients.  Although these types
of treatments are successful in many cases, there is always a risk of
side effects. 

Chemotherapy can be very difficult for our patients and consists of lots
of side effects such as hair loss, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, mouth
sores, and the drop in blood counts, including a drop in their white
cell count.
