Osteoporosis is known as the Silent Thief. Osteoporosis is a condition in which the bones thin over time and become more porous. Since there are often no symptoms, many people are unaware that they have the disease. While it can strike at any age, bone loss does increase with age, especially for women as they enter menopause. More than 1 in 8 men & 1 in 4 women over the age of 50 have osteoporosis.
